high-capacity slotted filter cartridge: The robust and precise stainless-steel slotted screen is characterised by its unique hydraulic effect. The trapezoidal screen profiles suck the incoming water through the filter, which pro-vides for a very high water output (efficiency) of average 96% due to that design. Even with strong rain (cloud-burst), the efficiency reaches 90% yet. The extremely smooth screen surface prevents settling of dirty matters. They are rinsed into the overflow as sludge discharge. In this way, the filter is self-cleaning to large extent. We recommend, however, inspecting the slotted screen cartridge on a regular basis and cleaning, if required. This is particularly true after special weather conditions. For that purpose, just put it in the disk washer.
